MOBILE MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN - FACILITIES MANAGEMENT - IRELAND
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our Client deliver Facilities Management (FM) services across Europe
to all types of industries and they are currently seeking a Mobile
Mechanical Technician for their Facilities Management Team.
This role is Nationwide but base is flexible.
Liaison with Facility Managers and Helpdesk on upcoming tasks
Generation of Site Visit Reports
Reporting of risk items
Collaboration with colleagues and management team
The effective and efficient delivery of planned preventative and
reactive mechanical maintenance tasks nationwide.
Manage reactive callouts to nationwide facilities where required.
Assist FM teams in the development and delivery of small works scope
Liaise with specialists and suppliers in relation to industry and
manufacturers requirements
Input on work schedules and task sheets for mechanical maintenance
tasks
Generate and complete site visit report in line with statutory and
company standards and upload these to our CAFM System
Provide support to FM teams on reactive tasks (remotely & locally)
Engage with and use technology for delivery of services
Partake in innovation projects and provide technical input where
required.
Comply with safety and quality duties
Carry out works in line with; Statutory and legislative requirements,
Health and safety requirements, Applicable standard and codes of
practice, Contract specification, Contract requirements, Good
commercial practice, Quality plan, Company policies and procedures
Ensure that all facilities and services are made available within the
requirements of the contract specifications and ensuring assets are
operating efficiently.
Ensure that on-site team members are given necessary specialist
support required from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS
Technical qualification and experience in mechanical systems
(commercial experience) at least * years’
experience.
Be competent on working on, servicing and fault diagnoses of large
commercial gas (NG & LPG) boilers ( * KW) and
plant associated with these systems.
Have current in date RGII qualifications.
Ability to problem solve and diagnose faults quickly under time
constraints.
Have in depth knowledge of large (LPHW) heating systems including Air
Handling Units, Fan Coil Units, Chillers, Solar & Photovolvic
Technologies
Competency in IT
The ability to sustain the highest quality of service level delivery,
demonstrate sound commercial judgement, prioritize and balance work
tasks in relation to the operational objectives of the customer and
achieve continuous customer satisfaction
